Ok, actually it was 1987, Cliff's Boathouse was born in the "boat house" located in the parking lot of the Racine Eagles Club. Cliff's Boathouse Cafe is owned and operated by the Wolosek family. Dad's name is, you guessed it, Cliff!
Dad, Head Chef, "The Boss"
Cliff is the mastermind of the cafe. He keeps to the kitchen with one hand on his spatula at all times. Every once in a while there's a Cliff siting when he emerges from his domain for a coffee refill. Try to spot him next time you're there!
Son, Head Waiter, Maitre d', Beverage Manager, Bus Boy Mentor, Phone Answerer, Crowd Control Manager, Peeler of the Potatoes, Sports Afficionado, and "The Closer" (of the door)
That's a lot of titles! Some people say he wears many hats, some say he's lazy, and still others say "it's cold outside, isn't it time for long pants Marc?" But we wouldn't want him any other way!
Marc is the first person you'll see when you walk through the door. He might remember your name or what you like to order, sometimes even both (that deserves a little something extra in Marc's lousy tip jar).
He loves the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He changes the restaurant's bobble head decor with the sports season, and he charges anyone who messes with his bobble head collection double for their meal! He also loves spending his free time hanging out with his daughter Madison.
Mom, Book Keeper
We see mom, Linda, once in a while when she stops by to say hi. Otherwise, she's busy with the books. We've heard that she's the best babysitter in the world! And there's a rumor floating around that she invented the Cliff's Boathouse potato salad recipe. Truth or rumor?
